Faith In Action

There is a connection between our FAITH and ACTION.  This site will explore the points of intersection between our faith and issues affecting our society.  For instance, what does our faith have to say about the protracted Occupation in Afghanistan? The ongoing debate on health insurance?  The lack of political commitment to immigration reform? The income gap between the rich and the poor? I would hope that our faith would lead us to an action that results in cooperation, not competition; peace, not war; forgiveness, not shame; compassion, not indifference.

Faith doesn’t impose itself on society, but rather, society imposes itself on our faith. War, poverty, racism, labor and resource exploitation are realities of our day. People of faith have contributed to these social ills, but also, people of faith have tried to undo the harm we and others have done to our sisters and brothers and to our planet.  Video blogs (VLOGS) and commentaries (blogs) will look at the connection between faith and social  justice.
